This was explained by the lockdowns and other measures that made it difficult to meet with a bankruptcy attorney. However, as time has passed the number of people filing bankruptcy have not rebounded. The number of bankruptcy cases still has not come back to pre-pandemic numbers. In fact, bankruptcy filings are only a fraction of what they used to be. Keeping with this trend the number of bankruptcy filings in September 2021
